Congradulation to the "Globe Magazine" on its story about Obama being an illegal alien who was born in Kenyan and subsequently moved with his mother to Indonesia where he was naturalized as an Indonesian.
Unlike the cowered and brain-dead major media who care more about being approved by their inbred associates that reporting the truth, the Globe movies into the void.

That means Obama is NOT a natural citizen. And Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution is VERY specific. ONLY natural born citizens may hold the office of President.

Some may not realize, but the election on the 4th, was to elect electors, not the President.
In fact, despite his cute little sign, Obama is NOT officially the President-elect yet. Far from it, in fact.
The electors from the several states meet on the 15th to cast their votes. Votes they are under NO obligation to cast for one particular candidate. Meaning they could switch to McCain!
Obama won't OFFICIALLY be the President-elect until Congress certifies the vote on January 16th, 2009!
BTW, there are 20 lawsuits in as many states asking that Obama cough up his REAL birth certificate.

Well, at least you got the story about obama's natural born citizen (NBC) status being challenged, but citing the birth certificate (COLB actuallY) as being forged is the LEAST likely avenue for removing him given it's uncertain what the vault copy might show. However that Obama is not a NBC is already established by his own admissing of having British citizenship at birth, the same reasoun our founders could not become Presidents as "natural born citizens".

How could he have been elected to the US Senate then? Don't they check this beforehand? You have to prove you are a US citizen before you run for office, I would assume.
First of all we dont know if he is born in Hawaii or not. However he is not a natural born citizen even if he was born in Hawaii. The constitution states that you must be a natural born citizen born of two american citizens to be natural born. Obamas father was a Kenyan and therefore he inherited citizenship from his father resulting in dual citizenship and under no circumstances could he call himself natural born. He also was adopted by an indonesian and attended school there as a child and at that time to attend school in indonesia you had to be a citizen of Indonesia and when he returned to the US he would have had to go through immigration which would have granted him naturalized citizenship. Either way he is not eligible to hold the office of the president. Now the Supreme Court of the United States has had 3 cases claiming the constitutional crisis before them and they have refused to hear two of them. There are many more going to the supreme court. I for one cant believe our supreme justices refusal to up hold the constitution in this matter. If the constitution is not upheld we dont have a country any longer. A sad day in America.
Why didn't this article feature the U.S. Supreme Court Case also against Obama that is on appeal and is due any day to have the U.S. Supreme Court Conference on wiether to review the Certiori of former A.G. Good story in your current issue about the challenge to Obama's citizenship status. One point you missed is that this challenge has been in motion since at least June 2008. The first court case was filed in August 2008, even before the Democratic Convention nominating Obama.
Here is some historical information on the definition of "natural born citizen" from a scholarly book written contemporaneously with the lives of the framer's of our Constitution, i.e., in 1759.

I'm surprised it took this long for the story to get out. Instead of just showing his birth certificate to the courts to keep everyone quiet, he refuses to do it and send lawyers instead. He should have nothing to hide so why not just stop the rumors. When there are 3 different place people are claiming he is born, there needs to be some clarification.

I must make a correction to a comment in your article by the political historian. Mr. Will Silvestri, the political historian you quoted, has the definition of "natural born citizen" wrong. He should have said AND, not OR, in his statment. You may wish to check that point with him again. And please refer him to my following comments and references for saying he is in error.
The "natural born citizen" clause of the Constitution means that the President must have two U.S. citizen parents AND be born on U.S. soil. That is both parents must be U.S. citizens and the child must be born on U.S. soil. And the President must not have renounced their citizenship at any time. Obama does not meet the natural born citizenship qualifications to serve as our President.
See the scholarly book, Law of Nations, written in 1759, which addresses the contemporaneous meaning of the "natural born citizen" clause at the time frame of the framing of our Constitution, and which legal reference book was studied and used by the founders of our country and the framer's of our Constitution such as John Jay and others. John Jay was the framer most responsible for adding the clause "natural born citizen" to our Constitution.

this is stupid. everyone is arguing over birth certificates etc etc. i havent read too much into it but if you really want to know where he was born, look at his mother's travel history. has she been to kenya? was she there at the time of his birth? or was she in the states. but i guess that doesn't matter because if people find out she was in the US in the day he was born, they'll want proof that she's his real mother. people need to grow up and get over the fact that the person they wanted for president lost. he won fair and square so quit whining and work harder in four years.

The consequences of the Supreme Court declining to address the US Constitution’s “natural born citizen” clause on the morning of Monday 12/15/08 — thereafter enabling the College of Electors to transform the crisis from “law” to “political and Congressional”, leading to the ‘inauguration’ of Mr. Obama, are nothing less than catastrophic. If you look on the botton of his birth cert. you will see this statement..."this copy serves as prima facie EVIDENCE of the FACT of birth in any court proceeding." The "Certificate of Live Birth" is not a birth certificate. There are no signatures of witnesses, midwife or physician. It has no notary stamp. It was issued recently. It is self-destructed because it is altered.
Excellent. Now, can you please post about how he's ineligible regardless of a birth certificate? He's not a Natural Born Citizen because his father was Kenyan, i.e. a British Citizen. Refer to the HOLY GRAIL of the Constitution, de Vattel's Law of Nations published in 1758:

All evidence points to the fact that he was born in Kenya, which means that he is not a citizen at all, but rather is an illegal allien and needs to be deported back to Kenya (after he answers all the charges of massive fraud that he perpetrated upon American citizens).

Town Guide, A certificate of live birth is not the same as a certified birth certificate. Hawaii law allows them to issue a certificate of live birth regardless of where the individual was born. If Obama has nothing to hide, he should just release the original birth certificate. As it is his efforts to hide it are very revealing.

Every President born before the adoption of the Constitution was eligible because of the grandfather clause of Article II, Section I:
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President."
As long as the parents gave birth to the future President on US soil after they became citizens, then that person is a natural born citizen. Since none of the drafters of the Constitution were US born, the grandfather clause allowed for 'Citizens of the United States at the time of the Adoption of the Constitution' to become Presidents. After that no person except a natural born Citizen could become President of the United States.
Barack Obama had dual nationality at birth. The status of the candidate at the time of the election is not relevant to the provisions of the Constitution. What is relevant is his status “at birth.” If one is not “born” a natural born citizen, he can never become a natural born citizen.
Since Barack Obama's father was not a United States Citizen at the time of the President-elects birth, Barack Obama is not a natural born citizen.
If you apply for a birth certificate in Hawaii, as Obama did, that's the document that's issued, a Certificate of Live Birth. It's perfectly valid for State Department, etc., and it proves he was born in Honululu. Don't believe all the lies spread on the internet.
Hawaii has not issued a birth certificate. It was only a certification. Non-Americans could get those easily in Florida. We need definitive proof. Our Constitution and country are at stake here.

People say "so what if he was born in Kenya" he is a USA citizen. Well our constitution states that the Pres and VP of our country be NATURAL BORN for a reason. What about his trips to Pakistan did he go there with an Indonesian passport that he had when he lived there? Is his name really Obama or is it Barry Soreto an Indonesian citizen? Does he even have allegiance to Indonesia? Or to Islamic Fundamentalists? Do you question why they all support him?
I am a Democrat born in Chicago, raised in western suburbs. We Democrats screamed bloody murder when Nixon betrayed our Constitution. Obama must adhere to the Constitution as well as the rest of us law abiding citizens. If Obama is allowed to smash the Constitution what laws go next??? Civil Rights? Yours? Mine? His? This is an important story that the mainstream media is not touching for some reason. It's not that Obama is not eligible. It's that no one knows if he is. He only released the short form certifiCATION from Hawaii, not the actual long form birth certifiCATE. There is a huge difference, because the certification was provided to anyone who asked for it, in the state of Hawaii before 1972. You didn't need to be born there.

Even if he was born in Hawaii, his dual citizenship (Kenyan, through his father as explained on factcheck.org, and US through his mother) at birth makes him ineligible, some cases argue.

Obama's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, has several relatives or aliases, one of whom appears to be Kelly L. Dunham. At least one database indicates Kelly may have had a roommate or associate named Chet Hilburn Woolley. What's peculiar is that Chet was arrested on October 22, 2007 for making a terrorist bomb threat at a hotel in Hawaii, dropping a small duffle bag behind and running away before being captured and arrested. Town Guide you need to do more research before you opine. The COLB that you refer to would not even been sufficient for a Hawaii resident to obtain "homestead" exemptions in HI. Why? Because the state itself knows that such a laser printed document is easily forged and so that CertificaTION is only good enough, in general, as initial proof. The long form, vault copy of his Birch CertificATE (note the difference in CAPS) is what we need to see in order to be absolutely certain that BHO was born in Hawaii.

I listened to some Obama's speeches and he reminds me of a Pitchman for some MLM scam. If you've ever gone to one of those MLM seminars you know what I'm talking about. This guy stands up there and tells you what a great company it is and of all the money you can make, and oh yeah the bonuses and the vacations. He shows you picture of him and his wife in Hawaii, on his yacht and how some day you'll have a yacht. Hawaii has NOT issued a live birth certificate for Obama. It issued a statement saying his birth certificate was on file. But Hawaii allows birth certificates to be filed for children born anywhere in the world. He could have been born in Kenya and have a birth certificate on file in Hawaii. No matter how hard we the people push this issue, the Democratic Party has the resources (read, bottomless pockets) to fabricate as much evidence as is necessary to appease a board of inquiry. We can't win on this front. Let's focus our attentions elsewhere, like on passing H.R. 3835, the American Freedom Agenda Act, which would undo a lot of the constitutional damage brought about in recent years.

The birth certificate allegedly provided answers only one-fourth of the questions. Birth Certificate alone will not make these nagging questions go away.

His Birth certificate is an issue. He presented A CLB which even a person born abroad can get. He needs to present his long form Birth certificate which is on file in Hi. but has never been verified.
However, his Fathers Citizenships and his mothers age at the time are critical. Because his father could not have passed on citizenships because he was a British citizen and his mother 16 at the time of Barry Soetoro’s birth (Obama) was not in the country long enough (5 years after age 16) to give citizenship.
The constitution is explicit a president needs to be a natural born citizen, not just a citizen. You founding fathers planned it this way.
Proof is so easy Obama needs to provide that Birth Certificate that is now under lock and key in Hi.

Indonesia does not recognize dual citizenship, which means he had to give up his US citizenship to become an Indonesian citizen. Has anybody noticed the small date in the lower left hand corner of the (claimed) birth certificate. It looks like it is printed on a form that was revised in Nov. 2001 (11/01). How could this be a duplicate of an original birth certificate for someone born in 1961?

If he has been here most of his adult life than what does it really matter I still believe it is a black and white issue. Can't we just get on with trying to repair this darn country. Do we really know where most of the presidents where born?
1. Obama HAS NOT issued an official Certificate of Live Birth (what you and I are frequently required to produce). He has only issued a 'Certification of Live Birth' which is entirely different. The certification doesn't even show the name of the hospital he was born in. Hawaii has not issued anything - check your facts.
2. Simply having one parent be a US citizen of majority age does not make one a 'natural born citizen'. If he was born in Kenya, and his father was a Kenyan citizen, then he was a citizen of Kenya irregardless of his mother's citizenship. A dual-citizen cannot be elected president either. Also, he was adopted by his mother's second husband who was an Indonesian citizen and his school records in Indonesia list him as Barry Sortese (sic) and as an Indonesian citizen (only Indonesian citizens were allowed to attend Indonesian schools in the 60's, btw).
For those of you that say so what, it really is a big deal, as it is against the constitution. If he takes the Presidency, and it is later proven that he was ineligible for office, anything he did in that capacity would be considered illegal, and it would cause a multitude of lawsuits. Besides, the constitution was written that way for a reason.
Since I have lived in this state, I have been appalled by the behavior of the Illinois "public servants". It is sickening to see the 3-ring circus operate. Hawaii issued a certificate of Live Birth which is true. Hawaii can issue a cerificate of live birth to ANYONE with a $10.00 fee and filling out a form. This does not PROVE his citizenship! The birth certificate is what will PROVE weather he was born in the US. Then, his mother renounced his US citizenship when he was a child and obtained Indonesian citizenship. IF he got his US citizenship back, this makes him a naturalized US citizen...again constitutionally disqualified.

Hawaii did not produce a birth certificate. What was produced was a paper certifying that he was born there. No date included. If he really was born there, he could end the controversy by simply producing his birth certificate. Why doesn't he???

Obviously this is a most valid point as our Constitution states for quilifications for the Presidency.Until the constitution is changed by the voters it needs to be upheld. If it were to be changed then any citizen from any country could become the President of the United States. I don't think thats a good idea. So why are we justice departments not inforcing the constitution?

Nothing he signs... executove orders, directives, statutes, appointments, will be valid he signs will be valid. Congressperson Nancy Pelosi is the person responsible for "vetting" the candidate. She's also the person who wouldn't allow the traditional floor vote by the delegates at the Democratic Convention in Denver, 2008, even though Obama and Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton were within only 17 delegate votes of each other, in the competition for the total 2200 at the time. The Democratic primaries were a fraud of almost unimaginable proportions from the very beginning.

The Democratic National Committee / Rules and Bylaws Committee broke their own rules. They awarded obama delgate votes in a state in which he had removed his name from the ballot; they awarded him all the votes marked as "undecided"; they took rightfully earned votes away from Senator Clinton, and gave them to Obama.Then there was the ACORN fraud, the caucuses frauds, the illegal campaign contributions, the lack of any documentation regarding his citizenship status, his medical records (an undated, one page note from a doctor stating that he's "in good health", doesn't count), school records, etc.
The shame of this is, the first bi-racial President will go down in history with an asterisk outlining the frauds this man and his minions perpetrated on the American people. Our major problem is that the US Supreme Court will not allow any of the cases questioning Obama's birth in Kenya to be ruled on by the court. Instead each case is just "denied" without any explanation. A clear example of the Supreme Court not serving the US public. These cases will not go away but some may look for alternative approaches so that the truth is revealed. Obama refuses to release the certificate of live birth if it exists. This guy is not presidential material but a lying Chicago politician who only won because of the black vote.

Obama is NOT a natural born citizen. Even if he can prove (which he hasn't) that he was born in Hawaii (which he wasn't), he cannot be an nbc because his father was a citizen of the British crown. For those of you who think that Obama has posted a copy of his birth certificate, you are wrong. What's posted is a Certification of Live Birth. BIG DIFFERENCE! We need to see the vaulted birth certificate that lists the doctor, hospital, etc. Plus the fact that it's been proven that the Certificate of Live Birth has been tampered with.
But as others have said, he still wouldn't qualify because Stanley Ann didn't met the qualifications to pass natural born citizenship to him nor, obviously did his father. So technically at birthday he was a British citizen, through his father.

The key word is citizens, both parents must be citizens, not just one.
