Roseanne Barr Opens Up About the Terrifying Accident That Left Her ‘Trapped’ in Tractor on Her Ranch

Funnylady Roseanne Barr survived a terrifying accident at her 30-acre ranch in Texas after a giant tree branch fell and trapped the star in her tractor.

The former Roseanne matriarch, 72, previously told Fox News that living in the Lone Star State is a “dream come true”— but the experience nearly became a nightmare.

“I’ve got a really fantastic tractor out here, and I’m mowing. The only problem is I don’t clear the trees quite as good as I should, and I’m always hitting a tree and knocking it over, and it always hits me in the head,” she explained to the outlet.

“I’ve had several injuries recently. I had this one tree, I guess it was two nights ago, I knocked it and a great big old branch fell right on my head and trapped me in my tractor,” she continued. “So I knew I had to get out of there, and it weighed about a hundred pounds.”

The comic revealed to Fox News that it took her nearly an hour to move the hefty limb “inch by inch.”

“I just said my mighty prayers that always work. I said, ‘Come on God … I just want to be able to harness all this strong Russian energy that I know I still have in there if you’re with me.’ And I just flipped it,” Roseanne continued, adding she’s “proud” of herself for orchestrating her own escape — and hasn’t let the mishap stop her from tooling around on her tractor.

Earlier this year, Roseanne’s son Jake Pentland told Us Weekly that his mom was considering a Florida move. Barr, a mother of five, admits she loves the Sunshine State — but finds its weather too hot to handle.

“Texas is hot, too, but oh my God. I like to go to a place where you can smoke cigarettes in the summer,” she told Fox News. “I couldn’t even smoke a cigarette over there, and I can’t have that.”
