DREAMBOAT singer Bobby Vee had a charmed career, but he never got over letting one of America’s greatest songwriters — Bob Dylan — leave his band!
 
The teen idol with a silky voice died Oct. 24 at his home in Rogers, Minn., at age 73 after a desperate struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
 
“Bobby had a fairy-tale career,” says a music insider. “And a fairy-tale life until his beloved wife, Karen, passed away in 2015 after severe lung problems.”
